The Silver Wedding Anniversary of my Parents!

Its the 25th wedding anniversary of my mother and they are my only child. Wait, I am only 22 years old, born in the year 1990.  Funny when our housemaid asked my mother and my father 5 days before October 24, if how long they've been together and they answered, "It will be our 24th year!"

Our housemaid got confused for I told her that it's my parents' 25th wedding anniversary and so she confirmed by asking, "Jam said it will be your 25th?"

They count the years passed. It was October 24, 1987 when they had their honeymoon at Mount Crest Hotel in Baguio City.

To give way to their wedding anniversary, I didn't come to our office and spent the days with them in the house. I've been so preoccupied for the last four months that I wasn't able to have quality time to my parents. I want them to take them outside and eat, but I guess our home is already a perfect place to have an ultimate bonding.

Without knowing, the Virgin Mary that is rolled around our Subdivision is in our house. It's fascinating that on my parents' wedding anniversary, Virgin Mary's replica is inside our house. It's as if the heaven is blessing their strong relationship plus a rain outside is an implication that a sanctification happened that day.

After letting the visitors ate our prepared food, we took pictures that are quite funny!

Silver Wedding Anniversary celebration

My mother dug her wedding dress and my father's american suit when they got married, reminiscing the times when my mother is walking in the aisle with the eyes are all on her while my father is waiting in the altar for the ceremony of their "in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer" oath.

It's amazing to make my mother and father like teens, with teddy bears, roses, and cakes - the usual teenage thing during their monthsary. Anyways, let's raise a glass for my dear parents for raising a wild, and crazy daughter like me!
