What to do this Valentines?

Valentines is getting closer and closer. Have you prepared something different for your partner? Us girls want surprises that will make our heart melt and be love struck with our loved ones. Chocolates and bouquets could be a cliche especially when your girl is a heart charmer, a head turner, and a drop-dead-gorgeous chick. However, whether your girl is a kikay or just a simple girl, we all have something in common and that we want is to be treated special. Let me give you a tip how to celebrate this Heart's Day!

1. Watch a Concert. If your partner loves music, who loves to rock and roll but gotten tired of singing from the top of her lungs through KTV bar rentals, ask her to go on a date on February 13, 2013 at UP Sunken Garden. They have their Valentines UP Fair entitled Kontrakultura 2: Marked for Love, Marked for Destiny.

2. Watch a Movie and Dine at Italy. If both of you are fond of watching movies, try watching Warm Bodies as it is a love story but even boys can enjoy this as it is not a girly flick. In fact, it is a story between a zombie and a human. After going to a movie house, transform your environment from a hectic Manila to a romantic Italy at Bellini's Italian Restaurant. No need for passports, as this restaurant is located at Cubao, Quezon City.

3. Dinner Date on the House. If it happens that you guys are goer, maybe it is the right time to set your feet at home. Prepare a food for her that she will loves. Ladies love desserts so you can buy your main dish and prepare a dessert like Cheesecake and it is easy. Next is to buy wines to bring an elegance to your homey date. Marks & Spencer wines are ranging from P450 and up, plus they are offering 20% discount up to February 16.

Now, I hope this would really help you guys to decide what will be your surprises for your honeys! Good luck and keep safe after the said surprises, I know what's above are just appetizers. Lovely evening!

Yup, we don't have to spend much just to enjoy Valentine's Day with the one we love.

  2. Unfortunately, I didn't prepare anything for my husband. :( I'm a scrooge and I never really celebrated V day. However, there is a lovely bistro in my apartment building. I might just invite him for dinner and drink there. Happy V day in advance.

  10. We don't celebrate Valentine's Day on the date itself as most of the restaurants and hotels are fully booked. Thanks for the great, romantic Valentine's date tips though. I'd like to have a sip of the Marks and Spencer wine.
