Black eyeliners have been inside the makeup kits of professional artists or a kikay lady which basically means that it has been a dominating tool for enhancing girl’s grace.
Now, there are different kinds of eyeliners that is present in the makeup world where each has their own specialties that surely suit our needs. For the mean time, we are focusing now to what we call the gel eyeliner.
What is Gel Eyeliner?
Gel eyeliner comes in a gel form or should we say cream. Normally, the stores sell it with brush but if not, it is up to us whether to buy an angled or fine tip brush.
Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eyeline No. 1 (P498.00)
Tony Moly has been claiming this product as one of their bestsellers so I buy one with this very convincing packaging. Now, let’s begin to disassemble this one.
(1) The brush is fine tip yet it is not as fine to make thin lines. The softness of the brush makes the gel easier to glide with your eyes smoothly. Moreover, the brush is retractable making me feel much comfortable while I apply the gel. I can even control the thickness of lines I want to.
(2) The one on the center is the reason why I buy this gel eyeliner. If I would compare it, it is like a bridge that helps to connect two lands that are apart. It is so sturdy that it becomes easy to store with my “kikay kit” whenever I go.
(3) The gel is perfect in black from its first stroke and when it is completely applied to my eyes, it doesn’t look so shiny where I mostly experience every time I use liquid eyeliners. It lasts longer but it smudges a little especially on the outer part of my eyes which I may say that it cannot be applied on the waterline.
To sum it all up, the product is almost perfect. I consider almost perfect because somehow, it is not that waterproof nonetheless, with the very minimal faultiness, I would consider repurchasing one for it gives me that eye enhancement I've been looking for.
