This is where deodorants come in handy. Thank goodness they were invented, because tawas (alum) wouldn't really solve this problem. I am not saying that tawas is ineffective, it is just that it doesn't have the staying power people need. Moreover, it is messy to apply.
Nowadays, there are tons of deodorants that you could choose from to the point that it is already quite confusing when it comes to knowing which one truly works. As for me, I have the urgency to patronize this product, because my pits sweat excessively. There are some products that annoyingly made my UA reek, while other brands made my pits all wet. My extreme desire to end this dilemma pushed me to do an extensive research over the web. I stumbled upon the deodorant called Mitchum. Many say that this deodorant is one of the most effective, so I gave it a try.
Mitchum Roll on Powder Fresh for Women
Choices: Unscented and Powdered
I bought the powdered scent. I always prefer either vanilla or powdered scents when it comes to the products that I buy, because I feel like it is more natural and not overpowering. I felt different when I first applied this deodorant, because it was like having a sticker on my UA. Well, this is probably because I am accustomed to using deo sprays and deo-sticks.
I've been using it for almost five months, and I have nothing to complain about. However, I also found out through my research that sweaty pits can adapt to the ingredients of the current product you are using for your UA. In other words. once your underarms get used to the deodorant you are using, it will go back to being sweaty. If that happens, my initial solution would be to keep switching Mitchum with another product. I just can't let this good product go.
You can buy this from Watsons for P99.50. Unfortunately, the roll-on variant is the only one available here in the Philippines. It is a product by Revlon which explains why it is a little pricier than other roll-ons.
