Etude House’s Bubble Hair Coloring

I’ve been a fan of Katherine from The Vampire Diaries ever since she became human again (in the story, of course!). Just in case you don’t know her character, Katherine Pierce is a human turned vampire during the 15th century. She’s a manipulative bitch that everyone would hate. In the 5th season, she became a human again because of an accident involving her doppelganger. The beginning of her vulnerability makes me laugh, and I have loved her character since then. And because of that, this girl’s brunette locks motivated me to dye my hair.

I chose the orange shade because the SA told me my hair would be a little brown if I used this one.

Directions:

1. Put the apron (#4) and the gloves (#4)

2. Pour content of #1 to the bottle (#2). Squeeze to the last drop.

3. Pump the bottle. You’ll end up with a foamy substance.

4. Apply the foam to your hair.

5. Leave it for 30 minutes.

6. Rinse off with water.

Some heads-up: Do not wet your hair before doing this. Also, you can extend the time from 30 minutes up to 1 ½ hours. In my case, I left it for about an hour. The bubbles of the orange dye had a violet hue, and I don’t know if this is the same with the other dyes. While applying, you could feel a hot sensation. Lastly, your hair would be quite stiff after this procedure which is why it is necessary to apply the treatment (#3) afterwards.

Result

The color of my hair is much better when exposed to sunlight. Unfortunately, the result is not so good, because my hair was wet before I did the procedure. Even so, I enjoy walking on sunshine! I’m walking on sunshine. Wohh hoo ooh!!

By the way, I got my curls done at Benefits Salon.

Saranghaeyo!!!

  2. I haven't tried any products from Etude (Oh I feel so ignorant Lol!) Anyway, brave of you to color your hair on your own, I think I can't do that as I'm scared I might mess up. Hahaha. Love dyeing my hair though :)
