Review: 100% Natural Smoothing Hair Serum

The hair is a girl’s most precious gem, so it is very vital for women to have a healthy crowning glory. With that in mind, I am sure several women have tried different products on their mane to have that oh-so-hard-to-get head-turning luster. It doesn't matter whether a girl has a natural black Pinay hair or a color-treated one. What matters is that the hair shines. To keep my mane’s luster, I tried Human Nature’s Hair Serum. It contains nutrient-rich oils (soybean, broccoli, and sunflower oils) that penetrate and protect locks.

Ingredients: caprylic/capric triglyceride (coconut-derived), dicaprylyl ether (vegetable derived), Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, Glycine soja (soybean) oil, ethyl alcohol (sugarcane-derived), Brassica olerocea italic (broccoli) seed oil, fragrance (all natural), glyceryl caprylate (coconut, palm, and glycerine-derived)

P 249.75 – 50 ml

The packaging and I do not have a healthy relationship. This is because when the bottle is placed in a bag, the oil easily spills. I don’t know how it happened, because it is a pump bottle with a cap. I solved the nasty problem by replacing the bottle that I bought from the nearest Beauty Bar. In addition, the bottle is quite soft which means you can also squeeze it a bit. Also, the oil is yellowish. Meanwhile, I wish that the serum’s scent was better.

When I used the product, the oil felt very lightweight. In fact, every time I apply it on my hair, the oil seems to disappear like magic. It is good to know that it does not leave my hair looking and feeling greasy. Also, it worked wonders for my hair throughout the day, because my locks didn't feel unruly as I ran my errands the whole time. Nevertheless, I dab a bit more product at the tip of my locks every now and then, because the ends tend to get dry. This is probably since I have digipermed hair. I like how after putting on the serum, my hair looks shiny and smooth.

Will I recommend it? Yes, because compared to the serums available in the market, Human Nature’s Hair Serum gives what every girl wants—healthy-looking hair. Plus, I've learned that the hair serums sold in the market are silicone-based. Silicone is said to cause harm on our precious locks. You can buy this in Landmark and in Human Nature stores.

  1. That's indeed a great review you've done here,thanks for this.

  2. These serum is perfect for proper hair care and maintenance.

  3. I have yet to put my HHN Hair Serum in my bag, so I did not it had that problem. It is quite a potent moisturizer for the hair, especially now that we have a very hot weather. Plus, it is also natural + earth-friendly. What more can you really ask for in a hair product?

  4. A nice natural smoothing hair product foe men and women too.

  5. I've seen this already and wonder if it's also good for colored hair. I'm seeing limited brands of shampoos for dyed hair.

  6. I use Human Nature products but I haven't tried using the 100% Natural Smoothing Hair Serum. What I normally use is the sun flower beauty oil which I use on my hair , on my face as a moisturizer and sometimes to my feet soles, knees and elbows to soften it.

    1. yeah, im using sunflower oil of human nature too. i'll post something about that soon :)

  7. I havent tried this kind of serum but if it's from HHN, I think this is a good organic product.

  8. haven't tried any hair serum and any human nature products. i am not that looking after my hair hehe

  9. i agree that hair should shine, i still believe that the natural way should always be considered best. but anyway everybody is busy so i guess this is the most convenient solution
