Review: Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura BB Cream SPF 37 PA++

After using Missha BB cream No. 23 for a year, I wanted to explore another kind of BB cream. This time, I decided to see what Tony Moly has to offer. The brand used to offer Dear Me BB cream. It was very cheap (around $ 9.00), and from what I have read, provides good coverage. However, the SA told me that they have changed it and that the shade won’t suit my skin. Therefore, she has recommended me their best seller, the Luminous Goddess Aura BB Cream (P 798.00/ $ 17.00)

The product comes in a white squeeze tube 45ml packaging with a pink cap. The cream’s color is light brown. Also, the product is quite runny which probably explains why it is called a luminous BB cream. It has a flowery scent, too.

As you would see from my photo, the product was able to cover up my dark circles, hide my pores, and minimize blemishes. It has light to medium coverage, yet the downside is that it only has one shade. Yes, it appears dewy for the first few hours, but the cream can sometimes crack when I apply loose powder in an attempt to rid my face of excess oil. Nevertheless, it’s only a little issue and I still use it, because the SPF is higher which is very suitable for my daily activities.
Comparing to to the preceding photos above,
my hair was not dyed here in this photo yet.
(you might just wonder) :)

  1. Nice review, I guess you have to skip the finishing powder if that's the case. I've tried more than bb creams but never blogged about them. Even before I started blogging been using bb cream. I always buy sample sachets or 5g tubes from online re-sellers. This bb cream made your skin flawless and fresh.

  2. Seems like a pretty nice BB cream, especially for just everyday use when you don't need full coverage. I like BB creams that have a dewy finish too!

  3. Love the coverage on you. Haven't tried much BB Creams but this may be something I can try too :)

  4. It looks good on you! It gives your skin an added glow ; )

  5. I'm glad this BB cream works for you. As for me, I wish I haven't really tried BB creams before, but in the event that I'm ready to do that, I'll try this BB brand, too.

  6. I have this BB cream, too. It's actually one of my favorite BBs - lightweight, has SPF, dewy finish, and I never had breakouts with this product. :)

  7. I'm just getting into learning about make up but haven't explored BB creams yet. It looks like something I should have though! Thanks for sharing this!
