BYS Contour Trio Review

It is very common for the girls to only have foundation, eyebrow liner and lipstick to complete their day. Contouring never existed in my makeup kit until I had training in a hotel, where to look good is deemed necessary.

I visited Watsons without knowing what brand I should go for. As I asked, the SA entertained me enthusiastically and recommended me the 02 Sweet Contour Trio of BYS for Php 449.00. As the name suggests, it is packed or united in three which brings me the ease to bring and keep.
BYS Contour Trio

At the bottom of the palette, you could find a cheat sheet on how to properly contour. Let’s get this started.

Bare Face.

After drawing my eyebrows, time to highlight! The powder is matte.

Contour. It’s like you are drawing #3 on your face. This light brown shade is not so pigmented, which is suitable on my skin type.

Cheeks. It’s an orange shade for the blush. Smile!

End Product :)

Would I recommend it? Yes! BYS Contour Trio is very affordable yet it gives me the natural “blooming” effect which is good for daytime makeup, giving me a pretty and warm glow. Moreover, I also like that it comes in powder preventing me from having the “heavy” feeling on my face. I hope you get what I mean. Downside though, that this is not so long lasting.

  2. Nicely done! I'm not really good at putting make up on, I'm just an eyeliner and lipstick kind of girl.

  3. As much as I love love makeup, I very much hate wearing them! I love putting it on though and I have a ridiculous amount of makeup I don't use. Needless to say, contouring is definitely not something I would enjoy having on my face. But maybe I need to rethink it after looking at your photo.

  4. I always say that it doesn't really matter how great my makeup set is, if I don't know how to use them, they're practically useless, haha. I'm not very good at makeup, but you are so good at it.

  5. You've done this review with an open mind and share to women with style...especially bloggers. Well, it's a woman-character to do these steps everyday I think?

  6. I'm settled with fixing my eyebrows and a lippie everyday. Contouring and even foundation doesn't exist in my routine yet. But knowing it has a cheat kit, well I might consider giving this a try. It looks pretty natural on you.

  7. This is a nice product. Especially on events, where we need to retouch. The price is even better.

  8. Love your friendly (and funny) pictorial guide. That's what we do when doing contours and you revealed it1

  17. The BYS Contour Trio is actually Cosmo's best contour palette this year, so I could see why it came highly recommended. It's too bad that it doesn't last long, but since it's compact anyway, you can tote it around for retouching?
