So. I'm one of those people who relies to Google whenever I have questions in mind. From a Q&A website, I found out that to cure burned pits is to keep it moisturized by using aloe vera, virgin coconut oil and a vitamin E gel.
I searched in our leading grocery stores here in the Philippines but found nothing so, I consulted again to Google on where to find.
To my surprise, VCO is popular in USA and the oil they used are manufactured here in my country. Odd that I can't find in the grocery. My further research informed me that it can be purchased from the exclusive distributors. Thankfully, some of the VCOs are partnered in online shopping websites, buy here, now I won't have to stroll like crazy in malls.
I got this Santa Maria 100% Virgin Coconut Oil 500 ml for only P399.

So there's a difference between Cold Processed ANH - A No Heat and Cold Pressed.
According to the brochure,
"VCO can be produced by two common methods, heated and unheated process. While many virgin coconut oils found in the market claim to be cold pressed, the oil you buy may have been heated after extraction to hasten the lowering of the moisture (water) content.
Virgin coconut oil experts know that unheated VCO is the best. This allows for the retention of monoglycerides and other natural anti-oxidants such as vitamin E, A, and C which serve as a natural preservatives. Heating will destroy these substances leaving only the lauric acid to work alone rather than in conjunction with these micro nutrients."
Compare with the sunflower oils I used that the oil gets hard and sticky outside the bottle after long use, the virgin coconut oil is not. It stays the same as it is. Maybe this is what the statement above is trying to say.
It amazes me that the oil is very crystal clear! Just try looking at it below.
The smell, is of course, has a coconut aroma. That's why I only apply this at night in my UA so that I won't smell bad during the day. I use cotton balls to apply this and it becomes a cleanser at the same time as it removes the deodorant residues.
This also has bacteria-killing properties, and can reduce underarm odor. Meanwhile, I apply this in the morning on my hair before I take a bath.
I also sometimes use this as my cooking oil. The taste is something new in my daily dish. Also, it's been said that drinking a teaspoon helps for weight control and constipation. Just drink 1 tbsp 3x a day 30 mins. before the meal. Otherwise, take it anytime of the day.
"For people with cholesterol, take the blood test first, then take Cold Process Virgin Coconut Oil 1 - 3 months, and then repeat the blood test. In general, VCO can improve cholesterol. However, some people may be genetically incompatible with coconut or allergic to it. and therefore should avoid VCO."
My mother also topically applies the VCO on her skin whenever she feels her arthritis and she feels relieved. Indeed it has an anti-inflammatory action.
Would I recommend it? Yes but don't expect immediate improvements as healing will take some time. Extra Virgin Coconut Oil improves collagen cross-linking that helps to improve stretch marks, scars, and fine lines and wrinkles. I can't totally attest to its low blood pressure and losing weight capabilities because I don't have it. But for my readers out there, I hope you can try drinking it and share your experience here in the comment section. Thank you!
After 2 months, I visited a clinic and told me that my skin got really burned so it needs a peeling session to remove the burned dark skin. I'll keep you posted.
